2020 has come and gone in just a blink of an eye, leaving many in confusion, frustration, hopeless, and on the other spectrum any are grateful just to still breathing.
Countless losses in the materal realm, as a colective we are undergoing this massive change in so many things.
Specially the people who are used to a more mundane existence are having particularly a tough time. Tho se who are used to the llusions o the sytstem and are prompt to avoid themselves into countless external distractions. So this times of social distancing, isolation and so on are mind fucking us all, but more so poeple with no meditative or spiritual practices, are literally losing their minds.
For people who are more attuned to spiritual practices (No matter the tradition) are having greater insights, speclially if you're aware of the so call "Shadow work"and "Arquetypes of the self (Both terms coined by Psychologist Carl Gustav Jung) and practitioners who are more aware of their darker aspects within their personal psychology are diving more into themselves and trying to use this global shift in the concensus reality to their advantage, paraphasing Winston C. Churchill, "If you're going through hell, walk as if you own the place."Since this new reality has taken us all into a new way of living, a lot of people didn't make it, so we need to look inward and find that purpose that we are still breathing.
Regardless of the economic disaster, the lockdowns, etc. We have to start going within the full spectrum of the self (both light and darkness) So we can strive to be a more whole being
Chaos and Entropy are natural aspects of existence
The 21 Century has given the illusion of Order at leats in Western Society specially the way Capitalism works. The truth is this is just another illusion. We are surrounded by Chaos and entropy, it is the very nature of this planet, practitioners of occult practices are aware of this as with our different approaches to the art (Many traditions, pantheons, methods etc.) the magical arts take us on a path of self confrontation with everything societal norms wants us to distract us from.
In a reality where information is literally at the reach of our hands, we are flooded with so any platforms, apps, the constant need of being online 24/7, so much that we are merging more and more with technology this is of course a very double sided sword paradigm, in the last couple of years the percentages of depression, anxiety, and suicide has gone to the roof, we are bombarded constantly with ads, and profiles from seemingly succesful people, so that we buy into playing the comparison game, so of course by their standards we are never going to be enough. Teens streaming their suicides, online bulling, trolling, burning people and the list goes on.
If you're reading this you might be a magical practicioner or maybe someone with an open mind to this topics, either way you are one of those who are trying to make a difference by using this new technological paradigms as a way to connect with others like yourself, share information about your practices and more. This year has taught us that everything is temporary and illusory so we need to dive into ourselves to save ourselves and carve our own path.
I myself align more into the Left Hand Path, for various reasons but if you more a RHP that's fine, each adept has to follow it's own path. I do believe this is the beggining of the adversarial Aeon, where the ones who had been mistreated, misunderstood, bullied, the weirdos and so on, we come into power of our true nature, the adversarial forces teach us to become whole, accepting and embracing our darkness.
